In celebration of Ouseburn Open Studios this Spring, find artist demonstrations and have a go yourself at our free pop-up studio across the weekend of 25-26 March. Don't forget - our artist studios will be open beneath the gallery, and across the Ouseburn including The Biscuit Tin and BBox Studios!

Pui Lee

Saturday 25 March | 2 - 3.30 pm

Learn about drypoint printing with artist Pui Lee, as she demonstrates the process ahead of her forthcoming workshop at The Biscuit Factory

Laura Hancock

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March | 10am - 2pm

See local ceramicist Laura Hancock demonstrate her slab-building techinque as she builds and decorates a clay pot ready for smoke-firing.

From 12.30 - 2pm Laura will guide you on a free drop in session to create your own slab-built tea light using air-dry clay that you can take home!

Keely Pearce

Sunday 26 March | 11am - 3pm

Watch the art of papercutting in action with Keely Pearce as she demonstrates this mindful and intricate technique live in the gallery, and find out more about Keely's upcoming workshops.

Dan Cimmermann

Sunday 26 March | 10am - 3pm

Watch painter and portrait muralist Dan Cimmermann create a large scale painting and join him to have a go on a smaller scale with a mono printing taster session.
