About
This 1-day workshop led by Cabinet of Curiosity Studio will include information about techniques, as well as demonstrations and time for practice before making the lampshade. You’ll learn about the craft and heritage of origami, explore origami crease patterns, learn about traditional Japanese paper folding and contemporary techniques, and hand-fold a series of origami samples using different techniques and patterns.

Cabinet of Curiosity
Cabinet of Curiosity Studio is a creative design studio that has worked nationally for over ten years with in the arts and heritage sector. They are specialists in the paper arts using paper materials and techniques to make installations, exhibitions, costumes and illustrations for a diversity of commissions at a variety of scales. Their work has been exhibited in a variety of settings that include museums, theatres, libraries, heritage sites, outdoor festivals, arts venues and public spaces.

Payment is required upon booking. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.
Within two weeks of the workshop date places can be transferred into another name nominated by the attendee, or transferred to a future date.
Participants are encouraged to arrive around 10-15 minutes ahead of their workshop.
There is parking on site and we have 2 free overflow car parks on Bermondsey Street and opposite at The Holy Biscuit.
