In this workshop you will be introduced to techniques for building rich layers of texture, patterns, marks, and colour to form rich, complex foundations to your paintings. We will focus on mark making with drawing materials and explore different ways to create textures, patterns and lines using a variety of tools and solvent reduction techniques.

The workshop will include information about techniques, as well as demonstrations and plenty of time for practice. You will be amazed by what you can create in just one day!
