'A City Seen'

'A City Seen' is a collection of 30 original paintings by South Shields-born artist Kevin Day, depicting Newcastle and surrounds; its buildings and people, its quiet corners and its changing light.

Over two decades Kevin has developed his practice, and is renowned for his loyal portrayal of Newcastle's streets, people and landmarks. Frequently seen around the City, Kevin paints exclusively 'en plein air' - recording his subject matter straight onto his board in rain or shine, day and night.

This exhibition includes a special fundraising raffle of an original painting by Kevin, in support of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
