Karen has been working with clay for nearly thirty years and lives in North Lancashire. Karen started her career as an artist through selling her work at her local craft fair and is now under representation of numerous galleries. 

Her current work is mainly inspired by the animals she has lived with ….and spent many years observing from afar.

Each piece is individually made using her own mix of clay, building the work up with thin layers of stoneware and finally fired to 1260 degrees Celsius using metal oxides for the finished “glaze”
