This exhibition features over 100 works from both well-know and emerging Northern Artists.  The New Light Art Prize offers some of the region's best awards and opportunities and is often referred to as 'the Summer Exhibition of the North'. 

The 2023/24 tour launched at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum, Wirral. It then travelled to to London’s Bankside Gallery along to The Gallery at Rheged, Penrith and for it's final leg arrives at The Biscuit Factory with it's last stop at The Mercer Art Gallery in Harrogate.

The common thread through all the work New Light does is a deep belief that the visual arts matter and the North of England deserves to be celebrated. This year’s selection features pieces by some of the most talented artists working in the UK alongside a Sculpture Prize, exclusive to The Biscuit Factory.
