A three week course to introduce you to the thrills of Free Motion Embroidery with artist Donna Cheshire. In this course you will learn how to adapt a domestic sewing machine so that you can do free motion embroidery, including appliqué, lettering, drawing, using soluble and bonded fabrics, and creating texture with top and bottom threads. 

This course is suitable for absolute beginners and those with some sewing
machine experience.

All materials will be supplied but you should bring your own large fabric scissors. Participants may wish to bring their own sewing machine - this is possible but the machine must be PAT tested.

Suitable for ages 16+

Participants are encouraged to arrive around 10-15 minutes ahead of their workshop.
