Alan Flood is a British artist living and working in the Colne Valley in the North of England. He has received numerous commissions and has been awarded residences with Leeds Hospital Trust and Opera North. In 1998, he was invited by the Artists Union of Kazakhstan to visit and exhibit in Almaty.

In 2007, Alan was also invited by his patron Sir Ernest Hall (founder of Dean Clough) to be an artist in residence at his foundation in Lanzarote. His work has been exhibited at The National Portrait Gallery and The Palace of The Republic in Kazakhstan and is included in many private and public collections across the world.

Alan's work is an eclectic mix of subjects ranging from portraits, group figure compositions to still life, interiors, landscapes and mixed media pieces.
