Mike Hall graduated from Manchester College of Art and completed his postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Art in London. Mike originally established his reputation in film and television design in the 1970s and 1980s, during which period he also undertook various painting commissions. Mike currently teaches painting classes in rural France and has shown in various galleries across the UK. 

Mike's work is regularly exhibited and sold at the Affordable Art Fairs in Battersea London, Hampstead Park London and in Bristol. His work is in private collections in New York and Los Angles USA, Germany, France and Australia, plus in Scotland and the Home Counties of England.
