Northumberland based Goldsmith Kirsty Taylor has been designing and creating jewellery for 12 years. Inspired by ancient jewellery and unearthed treasures with an emphasis on pure craftmanship, Kirsty's jewellery is subtle yet distinctive.
Kirsty is passionate about craftmanship, longevity and the ability for jewellery to evoke and inspire reflection, capture new memories and special moments in life. She strives to combine the ancient influence with cosmopolitan attitudes and create simple but distinctive wearable pieces.
She loves to explore the vast range of gemstones available and take inspiration from each gemstones' unique perfections and imperfections to create one-off spectacular designs. Past commission pieces include work made for Unilever, Durham Cathedral, The Bishop of Hull, The assistant Bishop of Newcastle, a fashion show in Lloyds of London and Newcastle University.
