Northwind is the brainchild of Gateshead-born businessman Lee Smith, who wanted to create a watch brand that represents the best of the North East.
Northwind’s first watch is inspired by Lord Armstrong - an inventor, engineer, scientist and business man who was born in Shieldfield. Its design references the North’s industrial heritage with a heavy duty and rugged aesthetic - powered by a mechanical movement. The heavy stainless steel case, sapphire crystal and 200M water resistance mean that it can also go with you wherever you choose to play.
