Edinburgh-based jewellery designer Karen McMillan works in resin to produce colourful, tactile pieces inspired by Japanese pattern and linear shapes found in nature. 

Karen chooses a 'retro' colour palette, insprired by hues popular in 1950's and '60's mid-century design, contrasting colour and shape to play with the uniformity of her contemporary jewellery pieces.
