Late Shows at The Biscuit Factory 2023

·

For Late Shows 2023, join us for an evening of Northern talent celebrating the world of art, music, literature, theatre and food. We're delighted to welcome a host of partners to The Biscuit Factory in a celebration of our region's creativity.

Art and Literature

Dan Cimmermann

Join painter and muralist Dan Cimmermann who'll be drawing a large scale portrait outline and inviting members of the public to add to the piece with posca pens, developing the work to completion across the course of the evening.

Leeds-based artist Dan's colourful paintings and murals are a meeting of ‘street’ and ‘studio’; a reflection upon British identity and a rebellion against societal rules of old. Through a process of reworking layers of paint and pen Cimmermann defaces classical works of 18th century portraiture, and creates new narratives.

The Book Room

At THE BOOK ROOM (the new name for Forum Books shop here at The Biscuit Factory) there’ll be a social with top Northern authors popping by all night to sign their books and say hello.
