Hannah Gaskarth is an artist and printmaker from the north of England, creating collages, drawings, and limited edition hand-burnished prints. Her ethos and aesthetic embrace the inconsistencies and imperfections of anything touched by the human hand, and the joy of creating arresting imagery using low-tech processes and commonplace materials. Wobbly lines, torn edges, a sense of narrative and a sense of humour are central to her work, which draws on folk art and mid-century design.
