Set to be the biggest event in England in 2018 and engaging an international audience of three million plus, The Great Exhibition of the North will showcase world-class art, culture, design and innovation from the North of England. Using the city as its stage, three trails across NewcastleGateshead will reveal to the world how the North of England’s great art and culture, design and innovation has shaped our lives. 

As part of our programming The Biscuit Factory will host The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair; showcasing 50 of the best artists and designer-makers in the UK.

Applications are now invited from designer-makers & artists working in ceramics, jewellery, interior textiles, fashion design & accessories, print-making, wood, lighting, furniture, product design, glass, metal, basket-making and more.

GNCCF Newcastle is brought to you by the team behind the award-winning Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair in Manchester and will feature 50 selected exhibitors to sell their work direct to the public at this summer show, which will be part of the opening week-end of the Great Exhibition of the North.
