A perfect introduction to throwing, with a beginners pottery workshop. Using the potters wheel, participants will receive one on one support to make either a yunomi cup with foot ring or a handled cup using textured white stoneware.
Your piece will be taken away to be glazed and fired and will be available for collection at a future date from the gallery.
Kirsty Adams is an award-winning ceramicist, making for over twenty years. She originally trained at Brighton Art College and then on the potters’ wheel in Japan.
She has developed a personal approach to throwing on the wheel using porcelain clay, to produce unique pieces for the home. Having originally set up a studio in London, she now works from her studio in Newcastle upon Tyne.
