This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone curious about trying painting for the first time. Working from a simple still life set-up, you’ll spend a relaxed day learning how to paint from observation using acrylic paints.
You’ll be introduced to the basics of looking closely, mixing colour, and building up a painting step by step. With gentle guidance throughout the session, you’ll build confidence in using acrylic paint as you create your own still-life artwork.
The workshop is designed as a welcoming and supportive experience, giving you time to slow down, enjoy the process of painting from life, and explore your creativity in a friendly environment. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished painting and a new understanding of how artists work from real objects.
