An introduction to gel printing where artist Justine Warner will take you through the process, starting with the basics to more complex tasks.
A gel plate is a plate which can be used for printing with acrylic inks. Using found objects, stencils, templates, magazines you will print a number of attractive prints that you can take home and embellish further including sewing and foiling.
We will be printing onto papers and some fabrics. A fun way to make your own designs and learn some new skills.
All materials will be provided by the tutor.
Bring an apron and feel free to bring any stencils, stamps and found objects you might be able to print with although these will be provided on the day.
