This Autumn The Biscuit Factory and Ad Gefrin come together in a new partnership rooted in craft, culture and community.
Guided by a belief in making with care, in valuing process as much as outcome, the partnership will unfold through exhibitions, conversations and gatherings that bring contemporary art and culture into dialogue with tradition, heritage and a strong connection to place.
From October, Ad Gefrin will host exhibitions curated by The Biscuit Factory, bringing a new and complimentary cultural experience to visitors of the RIBA award winning distillery and Anglo Saxon Museum.
The partnership begins with Modern Classics, opening at Ad Gefrin on Friday 23rd October.
Bringing together work by Paula Dunn, Angelo Murphy and Garry Courtnell, the exhibition explores light and atmosphere, the everyday and the elemental. Each artist works with traditional techniques to create distinctly contemporary pieces, bringing a new creative perspective to Ad Gefrin.
On Friday 23rd October, exhibiting artist Paula Dunn will be at Ad Gefrin for a special In Conversation With event, offering the opportunity to discover more about her work, inspiration and creative practice.
