In the gentle unfolding of summer, we gather in its warmth – drawn outside, drawn together, drawn into noticing.
This season invites a quiet attentiveness, and it is here that artists begin: with close observation, with a way of seeing that is rooted in all the senses and a way of sharing that is felt through paint strokes, etched lines and hand moulded clay.
Some capture the light that stretches and softens the edges of the day. Some attend to the land itself – its textures, its cycles, its atmosphere. For others, it’s in fleeting encounters: the closeness of shared moments, the quiet gestures that mark connection.
Summer has a way of drawing people together: into conversation, into companionship, into a shared awareness of time unfolding more slowly. This exhibition becomes a gathering in itself – a coming together of perspectives, of materials, of ways of seeing.
It reflects a collective sensitivity to season, to nature and to the human desire to share these experiences. It offers a slower rhythm, a moment beneath open skies, where we might pause not only to take in the world around us, but to recognise one another within it.
