Real Wedding: Eloise & Harry

Eloise & Harry said ‘I do’ back in November 2024 for a Winter affair in The Garden Room. They enjoyed their ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast in the space with their loved ones.

We recently spoke to Eloise & Harry to find out all about their wedding and why they chose The Garden Room, Newcastle.

“As lovers of Newcastle – and particularly Ouseburn – we were always sure we wanted a city centre wedding.

The Biscuit Factory already was looking to meet our criteria, but as soon as we saw The Garden Room we were sold – even in its unfinished state!

We got engaged in a plant conservatory in Chicago, so it really felt reflective of our love story and our taste.”

When it came to planning their big day, Eloise and Harry took a hands-on approach, opting to DIY many elements including the cake! Vibrant flowers and colorful accents added a personal touch, perfectly complementing the room’s lush garlands and greenery.

“The venue was already so beautiful, so it didn’t take much to add our own special touch. The one thing we did as a last min add on were some custom letter donuts from Big Fat Donut Co., which went down very well – especially with the kids!”

Wedding planning can feel overwhelming with so many decisions to make, but Eloise and Harry have three top tips for engaged couples:

“Soak up every moment, be willing to delegate tasks to friends and family – and don’t skip the confetti!”
