The Biscuit Factory is an independent contemporary art gallery located within a Victorian warehouse in the cultural quarter of Ouseburn. Original exposed bricks and beams remain, with natural light pouring though the triple height atrium and the scent of warm wood lingering softly.
Two floors are home to a considered collection of handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces from local and nationally recognised makers and artists. Thoughtfully gathered to be discovered slowly and enjoyed often, each object carries the character of its maker and the beauty of small-batch craftsmanship. With over 200 collections of paintings, prints, sculpture, furniture, homewares and jewellery – many not featured online – we invite you to visit for the full experience, to peruse at leisure and uncover pieces that speak quietly for themselves.
You may be visiting to find a piece of original art for your home or a handmade gift, but visitors can also enjoy browsing our bookshop, gathering with friends over a shared table in our cafe with rooftop terrace, learning a new craft in a creative workshop or joining us for a cultural event.
