Moon Jar Workshop with Kirsty Adams (2023)

About: Using the potters wheel - learn to throw and turn a small moon jar vase and base in textured white porcelain. The vase will then be taken away to be glazed and fired and will be ready to collect back at the gallery at an arranged time.
Kirsty Adams is an award-winning ceramicist, making for over twenty years. She originally trained at Brighton Art College and then on the potters’ wheel in Japan. She has developed a personal approach to throwing on the wheel using porcelain clay, to produce unique pieces for the home. Having originally set up a studio in London, she now works from her studio in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Payment is required upon booking. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.
Participants are encouraged to arrive around 10-15 minutes ahead of their workshop.
There is parking on site and we have 2 free overflow car parks on Bermondsey Street and opposite at The Holy Biscuit.
