Little Biscuits X Dan Cimmermann 2D Mask making

You will create a colourful mask design inspired by indigenous artefacts from around the world. Learning techniques including portrait and character development whilst improving drawing and colour skills.
All materials provided but you might want to bring a specific piece of cardboard to work upon. The lettering on boxes can often add an interesting element to your work.
The completed mask will be prepared for hanging at home.
Dan has been working as an art teacher and artist for the past 10 years and has twice been selected for exhibition for the prestigious BP Portrait Award. His work can be seen in the gallery as well as on and in The Biscuit Factory where Dan has completed 2 specially commissioned murals.
Children can bring a drink and a snack and there will also be water available.
Each teacher has DBS clearing and is currently working within schools in the region - so you can leave your child to enjoy their workshop, take an opportunity to visit the gallery and enjoy 10% off in The Factory Kitchen cafe (please request your voucher on arrival to the workshop).
All participants will receive an emailed booking confirmation and a reminder email closer to the event.
Payment is required upon booking. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.All materials will be provided.
Please ensure that they are dressed in clothes that can get messy/stained/spoiled and feel free to bring along an apron for your child to wear.
