Introduction to Collograph Printmaking // Sunday 16 August
Time: 10.30am - 4.00pm
Location: The Biscuit Factory

This session will introduce you to the essential skills and endless possibilities of collagraph printmaking with a focus on experimentation and fun!
In collograph printing, textured materials are glued and painted onto a printing plate surface. Ink is then applied to the surface and a print taken from the plate using a printing press.
In the morning session you will make your own mini collagraph plates using textured wallpapers.
In the afternoon session you will have a chance to explore different inking techniques to create effects ranging from subtle blends to eye-popping contrasting colours.
