About

Drawing from your own images, or inspiration provided, learn how to make drypoint prints. This technique is like etching but without using acid or metal. Instead we use a sharp drypoint needle to draw into the surface of card or plastic plates. You will be taught how to print these plates using inks and a printing press. The result is a beautiful, linear and tonal drawing.

Michelle Wood

The session is run by experienced printmaker and art tutor Michelle Wood of Sea Tern Print CIC. Working with people of all ages and abilities, Michelle regularly delivers print workshops throughout the North East
