Introduction to Linocut Printing Workshop
Saturday 12 January
Time: 10am - 4pm
Location: The Biscuit Factory Gallery
Hosted by: Michelle Wood - Sea Tern Print
Join us for this all-day printmaking workshop with experienced printmaker & art teacher Michelle Wood of Sea Tern Print.
In this session, learn how to design and cut your own lino block, from your own images or from inspiration provided by tutor Michelle Wood. The lino we’ll be using is easy to carve and A6 size. Then, using printmaking inks and rollers, find out how to make colour blends to make prints on card and good quality printing paper.
Using a traditional printing press, you can make vibrant & unique prints to take home. Workshop participants will receive one to one tuition and all materials, use of printmaking equipment and a traditional printing press, will be provided.
