Cheryl Lumley is a designer, maker, tutor and blogger. She aims to inspire others to find their inner creative beast, and in turn become less of a throwaway society and more creative and resourceful. Upcycling is about taking unloved, unused or thrown away items and giving them a new lease of life. This can be as simple as revamping it for the same use or re-purposing altogether.
She has a real passion for rescuing the unloved and is a firm believer in ‘one man’s junk is another’s treasure.’ A lick of paint, a new handle, a new fabric covering or a completely new use and the unloved becomes loved again.
A discount voucher for use in The Factory Kitchen café will be provided for all workshop participants. Workshop participants are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch.
All participants will receive an emailed booking confirmation and a reminder email close to the event.
