Abstracting to Stitch | Donna Cheshire
Saturday 27 April 2024 | 10.30 - 4pm (with a break for lunch)
In this one day workshop you will create landscape imagery techniques such as collaging, gestural mark making and painting in the morning, before developing these into an abstract textile piece, using appliqué, stitch and mixed media in the afternoon.

All materials will be provided, but if you want to bring your own sewing machine you can - it must have a darning foot and a release button for the feed teeth. (But please let us know that you will be bringing it along).
Bring an apron or clothes you do not mind getting a little messy!
Payment is required upon booking. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the workshop date are eligible for a full refund. Refunds and transfers are not possible within two weeks of the workshop date
