Rachel Peters is a ceramicist who makes hand-built vessels and sculptures influenced by the simplicity, beauty and craftsmanship of Danish design.
This vessel is hand-coiled from coarse black stoneware clay and left unglazed, showing the full texture and depth of the material. Its generous form tapers to a small, soft opening, bold, grounded, and calm.
Rich in surface and presence, this is a sculptural piece made slowly by hand with strength and stillness in mind.
