Danny Clahane, is a stone-carving sculptor based in Cumbria, carving a variety of different stones, primarily limestone, slate and marble in a figurative way. His work celebrates the particular qualities of different stones utilizing the different colours and textures. Danny is naturally drawn to ideas of human touch, nature, movement and pattern which you can see manifest in his finished pieces.
Danny’s sculptures can be displayed indoors or outdoors. Natural weathering with the elements should be expected, and embraced. These stones have formed over millennia and their connection to the earth and elements is part of their natural state.
