Mixed Media on Laser Cut Poplar | 45 x 40cm
Lucy Innes Williams is a painter living and working in Falmouth, Cornwall. Her subject matter centres around a dream-like interpretation of flowers, celebrating their movement and borderline abstract-qualities. Textiles, decorative arts and a contemporary re-imagining of the traditional still life oeuvre inform each painting. Lucy works on meticulously-drawn laser cut wooden shapes which then frame their expressive subjects.
