Sarah & Paul joined us in July for our very first Garden Room wedding! After saying 'I do' in the Gallery, they moved on to The Garden Room for their three course wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
"We wanted a venue that was local and ready-made in terms of beautiful décor, onsite catering and support to organise it all."
Sarah was a very hands-on bride, designing the table settings herself and arranging flowers she sourced from a friend's garden, as well as doing her own wedding makeup.
"The Garden Room is such a unique venue and you’d never guess you were in the middle of the city, but being so central made it easier for all our visiting guests.
The day went brilliantly and still nearly two months on we can’t think of anything we’d change. The staff were so helpful both in the planning and on the day.
We felt very special and excited! In particular, everyone commented on the beautiful spaces and tasty food."
Sarah & Paul's top tip for engaged couples who are planning their wedding:
"Just focus on how you will feel on the day and not worry too much about details or make it too complicated for yourself. Let those around you help out where possible, and remember you’ll be surrounded by everyone you love and that will definitely be fantastic no matter what."
