Artisan Social Space is a contemporary events venue in The Biscuit Factory, the UK's largest independent art, craft and design gallery. Located in the cultural quarter of Newcastle, it's perfectly suited to urban weddings, private parties and corporate events. Illustrating its versatility, our social space is also home to a vibrant public programme of events, including markets, street food pop ups and author talks.

Boasting creative flourishes in the décor, contemporary artwork on display and a 25ft glass wall that looks into the gallery next door, not to mention an outdoor courtyard – Artisan can accommodate between 40 and 80 guests and is available for only £85 per person as part of The Biscuit Factory Wedding Experience.

Gift Vouchers
In July of this year, we stopped our Sunday lunch service in Artisan to focus on private hire seven days a week. If you purchased a gift voucher from us, but were unable to redeem this in time, you now have three options:
- Request a full refund
- Transfer the voucher to The Biscuit Factory art gallery, redeemable against our artwork
- Redeem the value of your voucher against a selection of our exquisite wines (with 10% off their regular price) to take home with you
