Craftitude // Saturday 1 February
Time: 10.30am - 4.00pm (with lunch break 1 - 2pm)
Location: The Biscuit Factory Gallery
Hosted by: Simple Happy Life & Hello! Hooray!
Craftitude is an invitation to take some time for yourself to explore your creativity and the power of gratitude in a day of crafty self care! Learn how to improve your health, happiness and wellbeing by spending the day learning and crafting in this collaborative event from Clare Albans of Hello! Hooray! and Sarah Raad of Simple Happy Life.
After introductions and refreshments, the morning will be spent exploring ‘The Gratitude Habit’, which teaches you how to bring more contentment, happiness and success into your life through developing your own regular gratitude habits. You will be given guidance, worksheets, ideas and time to help you explore gratitude and make it a self care priority in your life. If you only adopt one self care habit in 2020, gratitude is the one to chose!
After a break for lunch and hopefully a a chance to look around the beautiful gallery spaces, you will spend the afternoon working with Clare to learn about how creating and stitching are excellent self care practices and making your own beautiful embroidered hoop hanging. Clare believes that creativity is integral to our lives and that by making time for our creative urges and dropping the need to be perfect, we can have a positive impact on our wellbeing. As she takes you through the process of making your embroidery hoop hanger, Clare will talk about why creating is important to her own happiness and ways that you can channel your own creativity.
This wonderful day includes;
- Tea and coffee on arrival
- Gratitude workshop including all worksheets & access to online gratitude journal
- Embroidery workshop plus all of the materials required to make your own gratitude embroidery hoop
- Tea, coffee and something sweet in the afternoon
