This autumn we are celebrating how artists use structure within jewellery, by bringing together 13 jewellers and over 200 pieces of jewellery. In this collection you will find interesting shapes, complex forms and bold structures. Whether it’s Lynne Maclachlan’s 3d printed brightly coloured jewellery, Magda Koenner’s monochrome pieces inspired by architecture, or Kate Trouw’s organic ceramic shapes, this collection is filled with unique statement.
More than any other show, the theme of structure has bought together artists who don’t just create jewellery, but hand crafted wearable pieces of art. While exploring the collection take the opportunity to appreciate the processes and materials used by our artists- from cutting edge 3d printing and laser cutting techniques, to eco-friendly materials made from recycled coffee grounds, the process of making these pieces of jewellery is as interesting as the finished products. These are not pieces you will find on the high street.
