Annie studied printed textile design at Middlesex Polytechnic in the early 80's. After graduating she began to design and hand-paint her own ranges of bone china tableware, under my maiden name of Doherty. She sold my work in Liberty and Thomas Goode in London, Henri Bendel in New York and as far away as Japan. She also designed exclusive ranges for Marks and Spencer among others.
In recent years she has returned to painting, which she describes as the root of all her design work. She now concentrates predominantly on still life working in oils and occasionally watercolour.
