Angela Edwards lives and works as an artist in the North East of England.  She worked for many years as an illustrator and designer for various publishing houses, design studios and most recently created artworks for ITV's award winning detective series 'Vera'. She has also worked for clients such as Disney, Frederick Warne and Penguin Books redesigning and illustrating the classic Beatrix Potter characters 'Peter Rabbit and Friends'. 

Angela's paintings depict a sense of the landscape expressing her interest in colour interactions and contrasting shapes. She works into a painting using acrylic and oil paints in an impasto style, building up layers of colour and making bold marks on the canvas.
