Our Autumn commissions artist – Lily Greenwood

Inspired by ‘multitudes in nature’, artist Lily Greewood creates distinctive original artwork that aims to capture the flow of multitudes; shoals of Koi fish, flocks of birds and butterflies. Lily’s approach employs an element of collage, using her own hand-drawn and painted studies that are reproduced and carefully layered into each larger piece. Washes of inks are applied, and sometimes additional painted or drawn details, before a clear gloss varnish secures the work and adds an opulent lustre.

This Autumn, Lily’s books are now open for a handful of commissions; giving you the opportunity to have an original artwork created and personalised exclusively for you. Whilst Lily has an extensive catalogue of work, her most-commissioned pieces include butterflies, koi, and swallows, in a selection of sizes.
