Tristan Lathey

Tristan Lathey is a Hastings-based ceramicist whose sculptures sit somewhere between pop art and folk art. Over time he has developed his own unique style of slab-built sculpture which is both playful and angular. His work is animal themed, taking inspiration from classic European figurines and Mexican folk art. All pieces are made from paper porcelain fired to mid temperature.
