Stuart Brocklehurst is an award-winning printmaker based in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire. Working from direct observation, his naturalistic and representational prints explore landscape, wildlife and everyday subjects. Influenced by early 20th-century topographical printmakers, he works across mezzotint, wood engraving and linocut, valuing traditional craftsmanship and time-honoured techniques. Stuart’s practice is rooted in careful drawing, observation and a deep respect for the continuity of printmaking processes.
