Lindy Norton is a printmaker, painter, and illustrator exploring ambiguity, mystery, and traces of human presence through evocative depictions of windows, hallways, stairways, and alleyways. Since completing an MA at Chelsea School of Art in 1985, she has developed a fine art practice that uses drawing, painting, and dry-point etching to create atmospheric narratives that balance visual uncertainty with a sense of unease. She is currently undertaking an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, expanding her exploration of storytelling through the relationship between words, images, and sequential narrative.
