Born in Liverpool, Kathryn Williams is a multi-award winning and Mercury Prize nominated singer-songwriter, author and artist. Her novel ‘The Ormering Tide’, published by Wrecking Ball Press, debuted to critical acclaim, and was listed as a North of England best seller in The Bookseller magazine. She hosts her own podcast ‘Before the light goes out’ which appeared in the top ten best music podcasts by the Guardian. Kathryn has been drawing and painting all her life. She studied art in liverpool then completed an art degree in Newcastle, where she now lives. She has painted many artists and writers portraits, as well as exhibiting her watercolours of places and landscapes she visits on tour.
