Jennifer Watt was born in Dumfries and graduated at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee. She lived and worked in Lincolnshire for 27 years before returning to her home near Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway in 2000. Her sculptural work consists of pieces in stone, cement and Limited Edition work in bronze and resin. Jennifer’s work is inspired by long shadows and natural organic forms. Moved by simple shapes that are void of any unnecessary components, Jennifer strives to create sculpture which is sincere to its form, material and surface.
