Jane is a Scottish artist and printmaker based in Perthshire. After studying printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee, she pursued an international career in design that spanned textiles and ceramics in Porto before becoming Creative Director of Graphic Design at the BBC in London.
Returning to Scotland, Jane reconnected with her printmaking practice, specialising in reduction linocut from her Perthshire studio. Watercolour sketching forms an essential part of her creative process, allowing her to explore colour, composition, and ideas before developing her prints. Jane is an elected Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, and her work reflects a lifelong engagement with design, printmaking, and the expressive possibilities of colour.
