Graham Rider is a landscape painter based on the East Coast of Suffolk, known for his depictions of the shoreline and the interplay between land and sea. He studied Fine Art at Norwich School of Art and later completed an MA in Education and an MA Certificate in Fine Art at Cambridge School of Art. His work captures the energy and movement of coastal landscapes, including tides, bird flight patterns, and the shifting interplay between permanence and transience, using a loose, impressionistic technique. Graham’s paintings are held in public and corporate collections, including the National Railways Museum, York, and Network Rail, and he has completed notable public commissions including paintings of Liverpool Street Station for Railtrack.
