Gail Mason is an intuitive painter/printmaker exploring the ‘Emotional Landscape’ through gestural, semi-abstract, fictive places full of movement, weather, air and space. The work is characterised by exuberant gestural paintings of semi-abstract landscapes.Looking to nature to inspire and delight, creating fictive environments and revelling in colour which is used to set the emotional tone. She has received several national awards, and is an elected member of Somerset Printmakers, Bath Society Of Artists and the Royal West of England Academy Artists Network. She shows widely across the UK and London including the Mall Galleries and Bankside, and has been selected for the Royal Academy.
