Born in 1972, Emerson Mayes is an award-winning painter and printmaker based in Yorkshire. His work focuses on landscapes and the life within them, aiming to capture a direct and authentic response to his subjects. Emerson works across painting and printmaking, with each practice informing the other. His work has been shown in solo exhibitions, major group shows and art fairs across the UK, including London, and is held in public, private and corporate collections worldwide, including the National Trust and the House of Lords.
