Chris Cyprus is a self-taught artist based in Greater Manchester. Working primarily in oils, he creates landscapes and scenes that combine observation, memory and imagined elements, often inspired by local allotments, woodland, and the changing light of the natural environment. His work has been featured on Gardeners’ World and is regularly exhibited in local galleries, open studio events, and community projects. Chris works from a studio in a former cotton spinning mill on the River Tame and is currently involved in a collaborative outdoor art exhibition along the Transpennine train route, mentoring young artists and engaging local communities.
