Chiu-i is a Taiwanese ceramic and visual artist, guided by intuition, craftsmanship, and a deep connection with nature. She developed her artistic journey in Taiwan, exhibiting her first work in Taipei, before moving to England in 2003, where the landscapes and rhythms of English life became an ongoing source of inspiration. Working without moulds, she hand-builds each ceramic piece with care and explores the relationship between clay, glaze, and form through continuous experimentation. Her work reflects the quiet beauty of her experiences across two cultures, bringing together the influences of Taiwan and the UK.
